We are a "Small but Mighty" community of faith committed to proclaiming the Gospel to the world. Epiphany Church has been so blessed with gifted people that make up this mission community. There are many opportunities to put your gifts to work at Epiphany Lutheran Church. As we partner with Christ to renew lives, we need your vision, your skills and talents, and your presence, because each one of us together comprises the ‘normal’ of Epiphany. We pray for God's continued guidance and blessings for Epiphany as we share God's Grace with our neighbors in Collierville, TN and the surrounding area.
"Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace." ~ELCA
The faith community of Epiphany takes Jesus’ command to “feed my sheep” literally. The garden is going strong - our community garden produces almost 2,000 pounds of produce annually that is donated to the Collierville Food Pantry, Trinity Ministries and the St. Mary's Soup Kitchen. We welcome everyone to become involved in this ministry - please join us Wednesdays from 9 - 11 am and Saturdays as needed this fall.
Harvested and donated to date 2019:
Almost 1,100 pounds of vegetables!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve and expand the garden.
Room in the Inn-Memphis is an ecumenical ministry that provides emergency shelter and meals during the coldest months of the year—November through March. We partner with Kingsway Christian Church to volunteer to make beds on Sundays after service, help in the kitchen with dinner service, clean-up on Mondays, and pick up bedding on Tuesdays. Sign up here to help with laundry -
next date is December 17th!
